BioWare’s Mass Effect 2 available for PlayStation3 in January

Edmonton-based BioWare’s Mass Effect 2 will be available for the PlayStation3 starting in January.
“In Mass Effect 2, PlayStation 3 players will step into the role of Commander Shepard for the very first time, leading a crew of the most dangerous special operatives from across the galaxy on a mission to save mankind,” BioWare announced at GamesCom in Cologne, Germany.
The game, currently available in Xbox 360 and PC formats, is the highest rated product in the 15-year history of BioWare and the 28-year history of EA, winning more than 70 perfect scores from reviewers, BioWare said in a news release.
